Just recently, PEPTAO with the International Center for Disability and Rehabilitation, University of Toronto, Philippine Working Group, has just conducted its first of the five-lecture series as part of their fundraising program that will benefit the two organizations including KAAKBAY Rehabilitation Center in the Philippines.

The guest resource speaker was  Dr. Colin McCartney of the Sunnybrook Health and Sciences Center.

Dr. McCartney discussed about Providing a Good Pain Management and Function after Surgery. It was attended by most of the members of the Philippine-Educated Physical Therapy Graduates Association in Ontario and some non-member guests.

The lecture series is a fund-raising event for the benefit of the International Center for Disability and Rehabilitation (ICDR), the Philippine-Educated Physical Therapy Graduates Association in Ontario (PEPTAO), and the KAAKBAY Rehabilitation Center (Philippines).

The second part of the 5-lecture series was about the Patient with Complex Care Needs, An exercise in Patient-Focused Care. Our Guest Lecturers were Patricia Dickson, OTR, MSc (Cand.) and Kathy Workman, RSW, MSW, both from the Sunny Brrok Health and Sciences Center.
